How can I register for this offer?

You will receive an email invitation from us or see a prompt within mobile or internet banking, with a link for more information on the offer. This webpage holds a link to the registration form
To complete the registration form you’ll be asked to give us your first name, second name, e-mail address and the 16 digital debit card number you wish to register for the offer
Once you submit your registration form, a confirmation message should appear on screen confirming, you are now eligible to start receiving cash back from this date until 31st August

How will I know whether I have successfully registered for this offer?

Once you complete your registration, you will be displayed a confirmation message of your registration

When will my cashback be paid?
A:
Your cashback will be paid within 5 working days after your transaction is cleared and is no longer showing as pending

How will my cashback be paid?
A:
Your cashback will be paid into the account associated with the debit card you registered for the offer within 5 working days after your transaction clearing, with the description ‘NatWest Cashback’

Cashback will appear in your transaction list as ‘NatWest Cashback’
Q:
Will I still get cashback if I pay in Pounds whilst abroad?
A:
No - Cashback is only payable on transactions made outside of the UK and not in British Pounds. So, if you choose the option to pay your Spanish restaurant bill in British Pounds versus Euros, you will not receive cashback on that transaction

Are there any places where I could spend money and not receive cashback?
A:
Cashback will only be payable on transactions made in businesses where their primary function is eating and drinking. For example, if you were to pay for a coffee in a hotel lobby, you would not receive any cashback as it is likely this would be recorded as Accommodation instead of Eating and Drinking

I paid for a meal at my hotel, why do I not get cashback for this?
A:
Cashback will only be payable on transactions made where the primary function of the business is eating and drinking. As the main function of a hotel is accommodation, not eating and drinking, cashback would not be payable on this transaction. This transaction would likely be recorded as accommodation, not an Eating and Drinking payment

How soon after I register will I be eligible for cashback.
A:
As soon as you are displayed the confirmation message, you will be able to receive cashback on all eligible transactions

What is the maximum amount of cashback I could receive?
A:
£100 is the maximum amount of cashback you will be able to receive in total, throughout the offer period

If I register my card, will my other cards or my partner’s card on my joint account also get cashback?
A:
No – only the card you register, gets cashback
