The cooperation between the Madrid Business Association and the Department of Tourism at Madrid Destino has led to the 2nd Madrid Hotel Week. The event places local hotels in the spotlight in terms of culture, art, gastronomy, technology and sports. The idea emerged in an effort to change general perceptions of hotels by way of unique experiences and ground-breaking activities. The programme includes events with famous chefs, exhibitions, themed tours, live music, meetings with designers, wellness treatments, children's workshops, and so forth.
