In 1963, Bruce McLaren founded the McLaren team. Since the first race in 1966 and first grand prix win in 1968, they've won 188 F1 grands prix and 20 world championships, with champion drivers Alain Prost, Ayrton Senna, Lewis Hamilton, and more. The team still inhabits the values set forth by Bruce McLaren himself: innovative, brave and a belief in the strength of teamwork and value of good, honest engineering.
