The Mastercard Gamer Academy is providing 10 people with the incredible opportunity to discover the wide range of career paths the esports industry has to offer. In addition to this, curriculum highlights will be captured in a series of episodes for fans to enjoy and learn more about the various opportunities in gaming and esports.
These episodes will feature a wide range of industry experts and focus on three main pillars: The Team (experiencing what life is like in an established esports team), The Broadcast (teaching what it takes to organize an esports competition and keep fans entertained), and The Organizations (showcasing all the different organizations in the industry and how all involved departments work together).
The Academy is powered by premier global esports organization G2 Esports, which leads the charge in representation for women's teams in esports, fielding four women's rosters across VALORANT, League of Legends and other leading games.
A pentalingual (English, German, Dutch, Spanish, and French) broadcaster with a penchant for performance, Sjokz made her mark on the game industry as host of the League of Legends European Championship.
