On September 25, 2024 Daata's' brand new Blackrock location was host to an incredible Taste Club. Mastercard, in partnership with Taste of Dublin, curated the exceptional evening of Pakistani cuisine.
Since 1999 Daata have dished up truly authentic Pakistani food, made fresh to order, including well known Indian cuisine classics and some uniquely Daata. This Taste Club showcased their varied menu, jam-packed with flavour and fresh ingredients.
Dish highlights included the lamb seekh kebab, Afghani chicken curry and the moreish gulab jamun for dessert.
Each savoury course was thoughtfully paired with a drink from Glendalough Distillery. Glendalough Distillery's gin is made with wild botanicals freshly foraged from the Wicklow Mountains by Ireland's only full-time forager, Geraldine Kavanagh. One bottle takes a year to make because Glendalough follow the cycles of nature, through Geraldine's intimate understanding of which botanicals to take in their best moment throughout the four seasons, they capture the best flavours.
