Thessaloniki International Film festival is organized annually in November by Thessaloniki's Culture Club with the supervision of the Hellenic Ministry of Culture and Sports.

It is one of the oldest and most prestigious Film Festivals in Southeastern Europe and the most important film event in Greece.

The nature of the Festival is competitive and besides the competing films it also includes portraits and presentations dedicated to directors and national film creations, as well as additional events such as the Masterclass, exhibitions, concerts, and seminars. Additionally, every March, Thessaloniki Culture Club organizes Thessaloniki International Documentary Festival.
