Laurel Charleston is an artist and curator based in Brooklyn, New York. Her most recent curation, SuperTrans, is currently on exhibition at SuperRare and is the second exhibition to be shown in their gallery.  Laurel uses the human body as a canvas for intensely transformative makeup art. An already established makeup artist in print & fashion, she is now innovating new approaches to makeup in web-3 and pushing the beauty world into the future.
 

Laurel’s work has been featured on covers of Harper’s Bazaar, Numéro, and Mixte, and featured in the New York Times, PAPER, Tush, and Dazed Beauty. Major client work includes Google, YouTube, Steve Madden, L’Oréal, POLO Ralph Lauren and Farfetch. Laurel graduated from the Pennsylvania State University, with a degree in music performance and orchestral conducting.
