The passion for precious metals and the fascination for natural gemstones motivated the brothers Vicente and Armando Balbi to open their first store, in 1981, in Rio de Janeiro. The sophistication of Monte Carlo, a resort in the principality of Monaco, was the inspiration for the creation of a project that, in a short time, became a reference in the jewelry scene.
