Paul Svensson

Chef, creative leader and advocate for us to take good care of our planet. Paul Svensson is 48 years old, has three children and a cat. He lives in the beautiful Stockholm archipelago and spends much of his free time in the garden and with his beehives. Paul began his career as a chef in the Navy in 1993 and was overwhelmed by the idea of becoming a successful chef. He took this passion abroad and studied cooking in Tuscany, England and France. After the education, Paul started his career in London and worked together with Marco Pierre White in London for 1.5 years and in several other restaurants. When he returned to Sweden, Paul was part of the team together with Mathias Dahlgren at Bon Lloc in Stockholm. He worked there for eight years and as kitchen manager for the last four years. It was during this time that Svensson competed for Sweden in the Bocuse d'Or and reached 5th place in 2003. As a cookbook author, Paul has written many books on different themes. Three have been awarded "Best Cookbook of the Year in their category". Paul is known for his work as a TV chef. In everything he does, Paul works with a focus on using everything and not throwing anything away. Is often hired as a speaker on the subject of sustainable cooking. In September 2019, he opened Paul Taylor Lanthandel with some colleagues - the ultimate place for local, organic and sustainable food and drink, which has the ambition to be the most sustainable and pleasant restaurant in the world.
