Premios Metropolitanos de Teatro seek to draw attention to theater industry beyond the stage. Los Metro are dedicated to produce media content related to theatrical productions that are carried out in Mexico City through an annual award ceremony, in which the theater plays are evaluated to acknowledge the work of the Mexican theater talent. The aim is to position Mexico City as a world-class theater capital, promote the industry and recognize the work of all the people behind the scenes.
