Marchesa offers modern French and Continental cuisine by Chef Didier Durand. The art-filled dining room, inspired by the Guggenheim in Venice, is filled with sculptural art and makes the perfect space for the rich, layered flavors of Marchesa's food. Chef Didier Durand has been cooking for over 30 years and focuses on light, healthy, innovative, and well-seasoned international cuisine. He belongs to many professional and culinary organizations including the American Chefs Federation and The Illinois Restaurant Association. He also lives to teach and participates in many cooking demos on national television, Cooking Food Channel, and Julia Child's Cooking Demo, among others.
