ALBA BERLIN is Germany's most successful basketball club: Since its foundation in 1989, the club has won eight German basketball championships and was victorious in nine cup finals. ALBA also ranks among the best internationally: In 1995, the team won the Korac Cup, in 2010 and 2019, the Albatrosses (the team's nickname) made it to the EuroCup finals. The professional basketball players hold their home games in the Mercedes-Benz Arena – every game is a mega event with a great atmosphere! On average, there are about 10,000 visitors to every ALBA Berlin home game, making it one of the most popular teams in Europe.
