Fernando Dávila is part of a third generation trader of dried chiles. His grandfather started his business just outside the Jamaica Market, which specializes in the trade and distribution of dried chili peppers in Mexico City. Working as a chili trader, he noticed that people who bought from him didn't know the names of the variety of chilies he offered. That's why he created this workshop, in order to bring people closer to one of their country's most popular product.
