Step into the heart of Italy without leaving Greenwich Village as Dante NYC celebrates its 110th anniversary with a tribute to Milan's Camparino in Galleria. Founded in 1915 by Davide Campari next to Milan's magnificent Duomo, this historic bar nestled in one of Milan's most iconic shopping arcades is the birthplace of Campari, created by Davide's father Gaspare in 1867. Upon arrival at Accademia Dante, the new room opened next door to the original Dante, guests will be welcomed with a Mastercard cocktail before being guided through five chapters of Camparino's rich history by Tomasso Cecca, Global Head of Camparino and Mixology. Each chapter features perfectly paired cocktails and food, with interludes of live jazz creating a convivial atmosphere as a Campari representative engages with guests, sharing stories of this high-ceilinged haven known for its original mosaics, stunning frescoes, and signature Campari Seltz—the ultimate aperitivo experience.
