Daniel Morón

Daniel Morón, former soccer player and current technical director of Colo Colo, Chilean nationalized but Argentinean by birth. He always played as goalkeeper and his first team was Andes Talleres de Mendoza. His last club before retiring was Audax Italiano of Chile. In 1988, he signed for Colo-Colo, where he had the most outstanding period of his career: in El Cacique he played until 1994, a period in which he became national champion on four occasions, and the title he fondly remembers was the Copa Libertadores, the Interamerican Cup and the Recopa Sudamericana, among other tournaments. During his stay, Daniel Morón introduced the use of the yellow jersey for Colo-Colo's goalkeepers.
