Piwokuhle Nyanda
Piwokuhle is currently a member of the South Africa national team. She holds the record for the most points scored in a match at provincial level in South Africa, for both male and female rugby players. Piwo was the highest point scorer in the 2019 inter-provincial women’s rugby tournament.
She enjoys playing both sevens and fifteens and has established herself as a Utility Back for both province (Golden Lions) and country. Piwo is a great leader, having captained her club (Pirates) and provincial team. She enjoys sharing her knowledge and love for the game with other women and girls.
Piwo is currently the coach of the Golden Lions provincial under 16 girls’ rugby team, a qualified Operations Manager, Rugby Coach, Netball Coach and Track & Field Coach.
