Cari Garcia is the person behind Fatgirl Hedonist, a food blog covering south Florida. She was born and raised in Miami, and her blog was created in 2010 at a time when she was in need of a hobby and had made it a habit of dragging friends to new restaurants. The blog began as a place where Miami's locally owned and operated restaurants were reviewed. Fatgirl Hedonist has since expanded to include information on upcoming events, giveaways, and recipes. The blog has gone on to win local awards and has been featured in local publications.
