Cassandra Brooklyn is a travel expert, freelance writer, and the founder of EscapingNY, a travel consultancy specializing in off-the-beaten path travel around the world. When she’s not leading group trips to Cuba, Mexico, and Jordan, you can find her leading graffiti and culture bicycle tours in New York City. Cassandra has lived in and biked all over Brooklyn (along with the other 4 boroughs) for 14 years. She also leads a New York City Food & Cycling group, which has allowed her to explore neighborhoods across the city and stumble on hidden and locals-only gems that don't typically present themselves to most travelers (or local residents).
