Massimiliano del Moro
Art Historian
Born in Rome in 1975, Massimiliano got his degree cum laude in Humanities, History of Art, in 2003 at La Sapienza in Rome, with a dissertation about Gian Battista Caretti (1808-1878), architect of Villa Torlonia in Nomentano, which was later published by the magazine Neoclassico for its original contents. Later on, in 2005, he published “Poggio San Lorenzo and Capo Farfa: historical events and artistic remains of two ancient Farfa holdings”, in which he reports datas regarding these two villages that led the territorial development of Sabina, from the Roman age to nowadays. Since 2008, he has been an authorized guide for Rome and its province, and a Historical Guide inside the Villa Magistrale of the Knights of Malta in Aventino. Founder of the Roman association Voli d’Arte, he has collaborated with many cultural associations in Rome and he is a cultural referent in many clubs and institutions in Rome such as Arcadia-Autostrade, Circolo Unicredit Banca di Roma, Circolo Dipendenti SACE, Dopolavoro ATAC, ANPAN-Alitalia. Finally, since 1997, he has been a member of the Venerabile Cappella Musicale Liberiana in the Basilica Papale of Santa Maria Maggiore (of which, moreover, he is also a cultural collaborator).
