Care for farm animals and experience Skansen's Swedish Fäbod farming culture
Visit the famous open-air museum before opening time, interact with the animals, and delight in a traditional Swedish fika
More...The Experience
Step back to the 1910s for a morning of farmyard fun at Skansen. You'll join the museum's animal caretakers in the fäbod, to experience the tradition of summer farming and feeding. You'll help groom Jämtland goats and Fjällnära cows, then take the friendly Åsen sheep on a stroll through the museum's expansive grounds. You'll finish the morning at Café Petissan for a authentic Swedish fika (coffee break) featuring seven types of traditional cookies and cakes and hot coffee. Exclusively for Mastercard cardholders.

About our partner
Skansen
Skansen was founded in 1891 and is the world's oldest open-air museum. Here, experiences of Swedish cultural and natural history are brought to life – past, present, and future – by illustrating the interaction between nature, culture, and the conditions of human life throughout history. Skansen also celebrates annual holidays and hosts concerts and events both in summer and winter
